Dr Joe has more than 20 years’ work experience assisting technology
entrepreneurs’ research and commercialise inventions. He also has more than fifteen years experience as a motivational speaker and coach as well as 7 years experience in the academic sector. He held positions such as CEO at BioPAD, Executive Director at CSIR, Executive Director at the VUT Science and Technology Park and he is currently the Campus Director for the Midland Campuses for Durban University of Technology.

Dr Joe founded Dr Joe High Performance Academy in 2013 to coach leaders and mentor entrepreneurs. He facilitated enterprise development workshops for entepreneurs sponsored by companies such as Arcelor Mittal, PATH and Sasol etc., and has consulted for many companies. His qualifications include a PhD (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology) from Penn State; MBA from UCT; Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard.
